Kundara is an assembly constituency in Kerala. In 2021 Kerala Assembly elections, the total percentage of voters in Kundara Assembly Constituency was recorded at 73.92 percent.Kundara comes under Kollam district of Kerala State. P. C. Vishnunath (INC), J Mercykuttyamma (CPM), Vanaja Vidyadharan (BDJS) are key candidates contested from Kundara constituency in the 2021 Kerala Assembly elections along with many other independent candidates. In 2021 Kerala Assembly elections, the total percentage of voters in Kundara Assembly Constituency was recorded at 73.92 percent.
In 2021, P. C. Vishnunath of the Indian National Congress won the seat by defeating J Mercykuttyamma of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) with a margin of 4523 votes.
Kundara Assembly constituency falls under the Kollam Lok sabha constituency. In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, Revolutionary Socialist Party candidate N.k.premachandran won from Kollam Lok Sabha (MP) Seat with the margin of 148856 votes by defeating K.n.balagopal of the Communist Party of India (Marxist).
