Bhupesh Baghel is a Congress politician and third chief minister of Chhattisgarh. He will take oath as chief minister on Dec 17. He is the President of Chhattisgarh Pradesh Congress Committee also. He represents Patan assembly constituency of Durg district, in Chhattisgarh Assembly. Right from the beginning Baghel has a keen interest in social services. From his student life he was associated with lot of political and social activities. He is famous He has been advocating social reforms in the society. To avoid lavish marriage functions for his low cost marriage campaign which promotes marriages with minimum expenditure. For that he has been organising mass marriage ceremonies almost every year.
