Since 1970, Meghalaya has seen 12 people as Chief Minister starting from Williamson A. Sangma who took oath in 1970 to currently serving Conrad Sangma who took oath in 2018 and is from National People's Party. Out of this, 6 Chief Ministers are from Indian National Congress party.
