Biography

Devendra Fadnavis full name is Devendra Gangadhar Fadnavis. He is an active politician belonging to the Bharatiya Janata Party. He is the 18th chief minister of Maharashtra. Fadnavis born on 22 July 1970 in Brahmin family in Nagpur, Maharashtra. He became the youngest Chief Minister of Maharashtra after Sharad Pawar at the age of 44. He took oath of office on 31st October, 2014 at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. Fadnavis has done his schooling from Saraswati Vidyalaya, Shankar Nagar Chowk in Nagpur. He enrolled at Government Law College, Nagpur, for a five-year integrated law degree, and graduated in 1992 and a Post Graduate Degree in Business Management and a Diploma in Project Management from D.S.E. Berlin. Devendra married Amruta Ranade in 2006. She is the Associate Vice President, Axis Bank in Nagpur. The couple have a five-year-old daughter named Divija Fadnavis.

Devendra Fadnavis is law degree holder but he never practices law. He was an active member of ABVP and channelised the youth towards reconstruction of society. He used to paint walls and paste promotional posters of politicians on them. Devendra Fadnavis started his career at RSS Shakha.
