Mothabari is an assembly constituency in West Bengal. Mothabari comes under Malda district of West Bengal State. are key candidates contested from Mothabari constituency in the 2021 West Bengal Assembly elections along with many other independent candidates.
In 2021, Sabina Yeasmin of the All India Trinamool Congress won the seat by defeating Shyam Chand Ghosh of the Bharatiya Janata Party with a margin of 56573 votes.
Mothabari Assembly constituency falls under the Maldaha Dakshin Lok sabha constituency. In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, Indian National Congress candidate Abu Hasem Khan Chowdhury (dalu) won from Maldaha Dakshin Lok Sabha (MP) Seat with the margin of 8222 votes by defeating Sreerupa Mitra Chaudhury of the Bharatiya Janata Party.
