Aravakurichi Assembly Elections 2026
Aravakurichi is a key legislative assembly constituency in Tamil Nadu, located in the Karur district. In the 2021 assembly elections, the seat was won by Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam. R.elango, from Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam defeated Annamalai of the Bharatiya Janata Party by a margin of 24816 votes.
It often sees intense battles between major parties. This election, the contest is heating up as NTK’s Narain enters the fray.
Aravakurichi Assembly constituency is part of the Karur Lok Sabha constituency. In the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, Indian National Congress candidate Ms. S. Jothimani won the Karur parliamentary seat by defeating Thangavel of the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam with a margin of 166816 votes.
