In 2022, Mahesh Gupta of the Bharatiya Janata Party won the seat by defeating Raees Ahmed of the Samajwadi Party with a margin of 11179 votes.

In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, Bharatiya Janata Party candidate Dr. Sanghmitra Maurya won from Badaun Lok Sabha (MP) Seat with the margin of 18454 votes by defeating Dharmendra Yadav of the Samajwadi Party.
