In 2022, Anil Parashar of the Bharatiya Janata Party won the seat by defeating Shaaz Ishaaq of the Samajwadi Party with a margin of 5028 votes.

In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, Bharatiya Janata Party candidate Satish Kumar Gautam won from Aligarh Lok Sabha (MP) Seat with the margin of 229261 votes by defeating Dr. Ajeet Baliyan of the Bahujan Samaj Party.
