In 2022, Chaudhary Laxmi Narayan of the Bharatiya Janata Party won the seat by defeating Tejpal Singh of the Rashtriya Lok Dal with a margin of 48948 votes.

In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, Bharatiya Janata Party candidate Hema Malini won from Mathura Lok Sabha (MP) Seat with the margin of 293471 votes by defeating Kunwar Narendra Singh of the Rashtriya Lok Dal.
