In 2022, Pallavi Patel of the Samajwadi Party won the seat by defeating Keshav Prasad Maurya of the Bharatiya Janata Party with a margin of 7337 votes.
Sirathu Assembly constituency falls under the Kaushambi Lok sabha constituency. In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, Bharatiya Janata Party candidate Vinod Kumar Sonkar won from Kaushambi Lok Sabha (MP) Seat with the margin of 38722 votes by defeating Indrajeet Saroj of the Samajwadi Party.
