In 2022, Premsagar Patel of the Bharatiya Janata Party won the seat by defeating Sushil Tebriwal of the Samajwadi Party with a margin of 62731 votes.
Siswa Assembly constituency falls under the Maharajganj Lok sabha constituency. In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, Bharatiya Janata Party candidate Pankaj Choudhary won from Maharajganj Lok Sabha (MP) Seat with the margin of 340424 votes by defeating Akhilesh of the Samajwadi Party.
