In 2022, Smt. Alka Arkvanshi of the Bharatiya Janata Party won the seat by defeating Abdul Mannan of the Bahujan Samaj Party with a margin of 37103 votes.
Sandila Assembly constituency falls under the Misrikh Lok sabha constituency. In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, Bharatiya Janata Party candidate Ashok Kumar Rawat won from Misrikh Lok Sabha (MP) Seat with the margin of 100672 votes by defeating Dr Neelu Satyarthi of the Bahujan Samaj Party.
