Mowkaiaw Assembly Election Results 2023

The vote counting for the Wayanad bypoll is taking place on 23 November 2024. A total of nine candidates are contesting to become the next Member of Parliament (MP) for Wayanad. The byelection was called after Rahul Gandhi resigned from this parliamentary seat. In the 2024 Wayanad parliamentary election, Rahul Gandhi of the INC defeated Annie Raja of the CPI by a margin of 3,64,422 votes, securing 33.6 per cent of the total votes. Out of the 10,84,653 votes cast, the INC received 6,47,445 votes, which accounted for 59.69 per cent of the total.
