Bankipur is an assembly constituency in Bihar. In 2020, this constituency was won by the Bharatiya Janata Party.Bankipur comes under Patna district of Bihar State.
In 2020, Nitin Nabin of the Bharatiya Janata Party won the seat by defeating Luv Sinha of the Indian National Congress with a margin of 39036 votes.
Bankipur Assembly constituency falls under the Patna Sahib Lok sabha constituency. In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, Bharatiya Janata Party candidate Ravi Shankar Prasad won from Patna Sahib Lok Sabha (MP) Seat with the margin of 284657 votes by defeating Shatrughan Sinha of the Indian National Congress.
