Kurtha is an assembly constituency in Bihar. In 2020, this constituency was won by the Rashtriya Janata Dal.Kurtha comes under Arwal district of Bihar State.
In 2020, Bagi Kumar Verma of the Rashtriya Janata Dal won the seat by defeating Satyadeo Singh of the Janata Dal (United) with a margin of 27810 votes.
Kurtha Assembly constituency falls under the Jahanabad Lok sabha constituency. In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, Janata Dal (United) candidate Chandeshwar Prasad won from Jahanabad Lok Sabha (MP) Seat with the margin of 1751 votes by defeating Surendra Prasad Yadav of the Rashtriya Janata Dal.
