Chattisgarh, the electric and steel powerhouse of our nation, was initially part of Madhya Pradesh until 2000. Now with a status as a standalone state that shares its border with Madhya Pradesh and Raipur as its capital, Chattisgarh has come into its own as one of the fastest developing states in India. President Abdul Kalam was particularly partial towards this state, often lauding it praises and recognizing it's potential to be one of the greatest states our nation. He fervently worked towards realizing the state's potential in the economic landscape of our country.
