Kamlesh Jangde has been selected by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to contest the 18th Lok Sabha elections from the Janjgir Champa constituency in Chhattisgarh. Hailing from the Sakti Assembly, she serves as the President of the Mahila Morcha within the BJP. Although she faced defeat in a previous District Panchayat election, she now stands as the chosen representative for Janjgir Champa.
Additionally, she was also a contender for the ticket in the 2019 general elections, but she was not given the ticket.
Currently, she is a District President of the Mahila Morcha and a District President of the Women's Cell Chhat Satnami Samaj in Sakti.
Her special interest lies in doing social work, studying, politics and understanding Indian culture.
Kamlesh Jangde was born on 30th December 1977 to Bhuredas Patre, a former employee at the Excise Department. Kamlesh Jangde's caste is Satnami. Kamlesh Jangde's husband is Basant Kumar Jangde.
