Santosh Pandey Biography

Santosh Pandey is an Indian politician and belongs to a political family that is a die-hard supporter of the Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP). He is the son of Shiv Prasad Pandey, a two-term board president from Sahaspur Lohara.

He is a member of the lower house of the Indian parliament, Lok Sabha from Rajanandgaon in Chhattisgarh. He won the 2019 general elections on the BJP ticket against the congress candidate, Bholaram Sahu by more than 1 lakh votes. He received 662387 votes while Sahu got only 550421 votes.

He has been involved in wide-scale community service efforts since his association with the Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh (RSS). He is the third year qualified by Sangh (RSS) prashikshan Varga.

His special interest lies in the welfare of handicapped sisters and brothers, especially by improving accessibility, equality and opportunity and serving people in the poorest of the poor areas. Additionally, he focuses on environmental conservation, water-related issues and notably water conservation efforts.

Apart from this, he enjoys reading and practising Yoga. Santosh Pandey married Rekha Pandey in 1995 and was blessed with two sons.
