Bhajan​‍​‌‍​‍‌​‍​‌‍​‍‌ Lal Sharma is an Indian politician who is currently the Chief Minister of Rajasthan and represents the Sanganer constituency in the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly. Bhajan Lal Sharma has been a dedicated worker and leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party organisation for a long time. Before becoming an MLA, he had been very active in the party and held various key positions along with his other political roles.

He was elected in 2023 for the first time and is serving as the head of the state government, and also takes part in legislative and developmental activities. He is still concentrating on the aspects of administration, public service, and party leadership in the Rajasthan region as of ​‍​‌‍​‍‌​‍​‌‍​‍‌2025.

Bhajan Lal Sharma was born on 15 December 1967 to Kishan Swaroop Sharma and Gomati Devi. His native district is Bharatpur District and he was born in Atari village of Bharatpur district. First he completed BA in 1989 and then he completed his MA (Political Science) in 1993 from the University of Rajasthan. He married Geeta Sharma and the couple has 2 sons,

Bhajan Lal Sharma started his political career with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh from his school days through its student wing the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad. He later went on to become the district co-convener and co-zila pramukh there. Later on, he went on to join the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha and become a sarpanch of his native village at the age of 27. He has been serving as the General Secretary of the Bharatiya Janata Party in Rajasthan for the fourth consecutive term.

Sharma unsuccessfully contested in the 2003 Assembly election from the Nadbai Assembly constituency in Bharatpur. In this election he contested representing the Rajasthan Samajik Nyay Manch (RSNM), a political party whose ideology is centered on social justice to economically backward upper-class communities in Rajasthan. In the 2003 election he finished fifth, getting just over 5,900 votes. With 6.28% vote share, he lost his deposit. In the 2023 Rajasthan Legislative Assembly election, he was elected as an MLA from the Sanganer Assembly constituency representing the BJP.

On 12th December 2023, as a first-time MLA, he was appointed as the 14th Chief Minister of Rajasthan by the Bharatiya Janata Party along with two deputy CMs, Diya Kumari and Prem Chand Bairwa.

As of 2025, he​‍​‌‍​‍‌​‍​‌‍​‍‌ is still concentrating on broadening the range of public services, enhancing governance, and backing development projects
