Kakching is an assembly constituency in Manipur. In 2022, this constituency was won by the National People\'s Party.Kakching comes under Thoubal district of Manipur State.
In 2022, Mayanglambam Rameshwar Singh of the National People\'s Party won the seat by defeating Yengkhom Surchandra Singh, Retd. Ias of the Bharatiya Janata Party with a margin of 1205 votes.
Kakching Assembly constituency falls under the Outer Manipur Lok sabha constituency. In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, Naga Peoples Front candidate Lorho S. Pfoze won from Outer Manipur Lok Sabha (MP) Seat with the margin of 73782 votes by defeating Houlim Shokhopao Mate of the Bharatiya Janata Party.
