In 2022, Irengbam Nalini Devi of the National People\'s Party won the seat by defeating Laishram Radhakishore Singh of the Bharatiya Janata Party with a margin of 442 votes.
Oinam Assembly constituency falls under the Inner Manipur Lok sabha constituency. In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, Bharatiya Janata Party candidate Dr Rajkumar Ranjan Singh won from Inner Manipur Lok Sabha (MP) Seat with the margin of 17755 votes by defeating Oinam Nabakishore Singh of the Indian National Congress.
