In 2023, Imkong L Imchen of the Bharatiya Janata Party won the seat by defeating Major Toshikaba of the Naga Peoples Front with a margin of 410 votes.
Koridang Assembly constituency falls under the Nagaland Lok sabha constituency. In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party candidate Tokheho Yepthomi won from Nagaland Lok Sabha (MP) Seat with the margin of 16344 votes by defeating K L Chishi of the Indian National Congress.
