Chandrika Baraiya (INC), Shaileshbhai Bhabhor (AAP), Mahendrabhai Bhabhor (BJP) are key candidates contested from Garbada constituency in the 2022 Gujarat Assembly elections along with many other independent candidates. In 2022 Gujarat Assembly elections, the total percentage of voters in Garbada Assembly Constituency was recorded at 50.15 percent.
In 2022, Mahendrabhai Bhabhor of the Bharatiya Janata Party won the seat by defeating Chandrika Baraiya of the Indian National Congress with a margin of 27825 votes.
