Prantij is an assembly constituency in Gujarat. In 2022 Gujarat Assembly elections, the total percentage of voters in Prantij Assembly Constituency was recorded at 70.28 percent.Prantij comes under Sabarkantha district of Gujarat State. Bahecharsinh harisinh Singh Vaghela (INC), Alpesh Patel    (AAP), Gajendrasinh Parmar (BJP) are key candidates contested from Prantij constituency in the 2022 Gujarat Assembly elections along with many other independent candidates. In 2022 Gujarat Assembly elections, the total percentage of voters in Prantij Assembly Constituency was recorded at 70.28 percent.
In 2022, Gajendrasinh Parmar of the Bharatiya Janata Party won the seat by defeating Bahecharsinh Harisinh Singh Vaghela of the Indian National Congress with a margin of 64622 votes.
Prantij Assembly constituency falls under the Sabarkantha Lok sabha constituency. In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, Bharatiya Janata Party candidate Rathod Dipsinh Shankarsinh won from Sabarkantha Lok Sabha (MP) Seat with the margin of 268987 votes by defeating Thakor Rajendrasinh Shivsinh of the Indian National Congress.
