Tankara is an assembly constituency in Gujarat. In 2022 Gujarat Assembly elections, the total percentage of voters in Tankara Assembly Constituency was recorded at 64.23 percent.Tankara comes under Morbi district of Gujarat State. Lalit Kagathara (INC), Sanjay Bhatasna       (AAP), Durlabhjibhai Dethariya (BJP) are key candidates contested from Tankara constituency in the 2022 Gujarat Assembly elections along with many other independent candidates. In 2022 Gujarat Assembly elections, the total percentage of voters in Tankara Assembly Constituency was recorded at 64.23 percent.
In 2022, Durlabhjibhai Dethariya of the Bharatiya Janata Party won the seat by defeating Lalit Kagathara of the Indian National Congress with a margin of 10256 votes.
Tankara Assembly constituency falls under the Rajkot Lok sabha constituency. In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, Bharatiya Janata Party candidate Kundaria Mohanbhai Kalyanjibhai won from Rajkot Lok Sabha (MP) Seat with the margin of 368407 votes by defeating Kagathara Lalitbhai of the Indian National Congress.
