Karur is a key legislative assembly constituency in Tamil Nadu, located in the Karur district. In the 2021 assembly elections, the seat was won by Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam. Senthil Balaji, from Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam defeated M.r.vijayabaskar of the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam by a margin of 12448 votes.
