Silchar Assembly Election Results 2021

Silchar is an assembly constituency in Assam. Silchar comes under Muzaffarnagar district of Assam State. Tamal Kanti Banik (INC), Dipayan Chakraborty (BJP) are key candidates contested from Silchar constituency in the 2021 Assam Assembly elections along with many other independent candidates.
In 2021, Dipayan Chakraborty of the Bharatiya Janata Party won the seat by defeating Tamal Kanti Banik of the Indian National Congress with a margin of 37578 votes.
Silchar Assembly constituency falls under the Silchar Lok sabha constituency. In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, Bharatiya Janata Party candidate Rajdeep Roy won from Silchar Lok Sabha (MP) Seat with the margin of 81596 votes by defeating Sushmita Dev of the Indian National Congress.
