Salmara South Assembly Election Results 2021

Salmara South is an assembly constituency in Assam. Salmara South comes under Bijnor district of Assam State. Wazid Ali Chaudhary (INC), Ashadul Islam (BJP) are key candidates contested from Salmara South constituency in the 2021 Assam Assembly elections along with many other independent candidates.
In 2021, Wazid Ali Chaudhary of the Indian National Congress won the seat by defeating Nurul Islam Mollah an Independent with a margin of 135574 votes.
Salmara South Assembly constituency falls under the Dhubri Lok sabha constituency. In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, All India United Democratic Front candidate Badruddin Ajmal won from Dhubri Lok Sabha (MP) Seat with the margin of 226258 votes by defeating Abu Taher Bepari of the Indian National Congress.
