Chandipur is an assembly constituency in Tripura. In 2023, this constituency was won by the Bharatiya Janata Party.
In 2023, Tinku Roy of the Bharatiya Janata Party won the seat by defeating Krishnendu Chowdhury of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) with a margin of 577 votes.
Chandipur Assembly constituency falls under the Tripura East Lok sabha constituency. In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, Bharatiya Janata Party candidate Rebati Tripura won from Tripura East Lok Sabha (MP) Seat with the margin of 204290 votes by defeating Maharaj Kumari Pragya Debburman of the Indian National Congress.
