Educational Background of Mizoram MLA's

There is no minimum educational qualification required to become an MLA in the state. However, the vast majority of MLAs have at least a bachelor's degree. The most common educational qualifications among MLAs are law, commerce, and engineering. Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) are required to declare their educational qualification while filing his/her nomination to contest assembly election.
