West Bengal Speaker List

On April 7 1937, Sir Azizul Haque became the first Speaker of Bengal in the pre-independence era. Syed Nausher Ali and Nurul Amin too were Speakers in the pre-independence era. The first Speaker post India’s independence was Iswar Das Jalan, who took oath on November 21 1947.
