List of Chief Ministers of Odisha & Their Tenure Periods

Since 1946, Odisha has seen 15 Chief Ministers starting from April 1946 to currently serving Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi who took oath on June 12,2024. Prior to Majhi, as the new CM, BJD leader Naveen Patnaik, who had led the party for 24 years, was the longest-serving Chief Minister since March 2000 ending the 24-year-old reign of BJD. Odissa has been under President's rule for 6 times over a short period of time .The major ruling party has been INC and Biju Janata Dal. Here is the complete list of Chief Minster of Odisha.
