Chhattisgarh Samaj Party (Chhattisga) Flag

Chhattisgarhi Samaj Party (CSP), sometimes written as Chhattisgarh Samaj Party, has no reserved symbol. The Election Commission of India recognises it as a registered unrecognised party. Its candidates receive a free symbol from the ECIs notified list at each election. Consequently, the Chhattisgarh Samaj Party election symbol can vary between constituencies and years.

ECI records symbols, not flags; no CSP logo or flag is recorded in ECI materials. Therefore, references to a Chhattisgarh Samaj Party flag are not official. Candidates use whichever free symbol is allotted during that poll. Allocation follows the Symbols Order and ECI processes, preserving the partys political identity.

CSP: Symbols and flags

In the 2003 Chhattisgarh Assembly polls, the party contested 20 seats and polled 18,284 votes, reflecting limited reach. ECI records classify CSP as registered unrecognised, without a permanent emblem. When eligible, parties may request a common free symbol under Paragraph 10B for one election cycle; otherwise, allocation remains election-specific.

ECIs 2025 compliance drives delisted hundreds of inactive registered unrecognised parties nationwide. Researchers should verify status before attributing any fixed party logo, Chhattisgarh Samaj Party flag, or symbol, as allocations and recognition are governed by Commission notifications and the Symbols Order.
