The Peoples Democratic Party election symbol is the Inkpot and Pen. It is reserved by the Election Commission of India for Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Democratic Party. This party abbreviation is PDP, also styled JKPDP. The symbol appears on ballots. It served Mehbooba Mufti in Anantnag during 2019 polling, confirming continuity.

Under the Election Symbols Order, the reserved symbol remains with a recognised party. Alliances or seatsharing do not alter ballot symbols for that partys candidates. PDP retained Inkpot and Pen while allying with Congress in 200205 and with BJP in 201518. The rule supports consistent political identity for voters today.
