Proutist Bloc India (PBI) Flag

Proutist Bloc India election symbol is not permanently reserved by the Election Commission of India. Candidates receive a free symbol from ECIs list for each contest, per the Symbols Order. The party contested the 2025 Delhi Assembly from Najafgarh, fielding Jalandhar Pandit. These temporary symbols enable ballot recognition and strengthen political identity in crowded fields.

ECI regulates ballot symbols; it does not record party flags. There is no officially recognised Proutist Bloc India flag in ECI publications. Any party logo used for outreach is separate from the symbol shown on machines and ballots. PBI displays a logo on its website, but that design is not used for ballots.

PBI: Symbol allocation and flag status

Under Paragraph 10B, unrecognised parties can seek a one-time common free symbol. Otherwise, its symbols can vary by constituency and election. Allies may contest on a partners symbol, as MMK and KMDK did on DMKs symbol in 2021.

ECI has undertaken delisting of dormant registered parties since August 2025. Participation by PBI in the 2025 Delhi election indicates the party remains currently on the rolls. Any future symbol for PBI will continue from free symbols unless recognition rules are met.
