Awami Socialist Party Of India (ASPI) Flag

Awami Socialist Party Of India (ASPOI) has no reserved election symbol or officially recognized flag with the Election Commission of India. Under the Election Symbols Order, only recognized parties hold exclusive symbols. Unrecognized parties receive temporary free symbols, not permanent emblems or flags. Therefore, any claim of a reserved Awami Socialist Party Of India election symbol should be verified against ECI notices.

Paragraph 10B allows a onetime common symbol to registered unrecognized parties. They must field candidates in at least 10 constituencies in a state, with minimum thresholds. They must submit symbol preferences before notification deadlines. The common symbol does not create exclusive rights or a lasting party logo.

ASPOI: Symbol Allocation and Flag Status

If ASPOI contests through alliances, candidates may use the lead partners symbol under seatsharing. For example, Pragatisheel Samajwadi Party (Lohia) contested on the Samajwadi Party bicycle in 2022. In such cases, any party logo beside ASPOI represents alliance use, not a reserved political identity.

ECI has delisted many inactive registered unrecognised parties since 20242025. Only recognized parties receive reserved symbols. Accordingly, no official listing shows an Awami Socialist Party Of India election symbol or Awami Socialist Party Of India flag. References to these should be treated as temporary allocations, if any, during specific elections. The onetime common symbol concession does not grant flag status or exclusivity nationwide.
