Nitin Nabin Sinha was born on May 23, 1980, in Patna, Bihar. His father, Nabin Kishore Prasad Sinha, was a veteran BJP leader and a former MLA from Bankipur, while his mother is Meera Sinha. He completed his 12th-grade education from C.S.K.M. Public School, Delhi, in 1998, holding an Intermediate qualification.

Following his father's political footsteps, Nitin Nabin entered politics and became an active member of the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM). He served as the National General Secretary and State President for Bihar in the BJYM, and also took on the role of the BJP in-charge for Sikkim. His political journey commenced with a by-election win from Patna West (now Bankipur) in 2006, after the demise of his father. He has since consistently won the assembly elections from the Bankipur constituency in 2010, 2015, and 2020.

In the 2020 Bihar elections, he secured his fourth term by defeating Luv Sinha, son of Shatrughan Sinha, by a significant margin of 39,036 votes. Nitin Nabin has held various ministerial portfolios, including Minister of Road Construction (from 2021-2022 and again from 2025-present) and Minister of Urban Development & Housing and Law & Justice (from 2024-2025). He is married to Dr. Deepmala Shrivastava, who works as a bank manager at SBI Patna.

In November 2025, Nitin Nabin won the Bankipur seat with 98,299 votes, defeating RJD’s Rekha Kumari by a margin of 51,936 votes, marking another decisive victory in his long legislative career.
