S R Vishwanath Biography

Singanayakanahalli Ramaiah Vishwanath is mostly known as S. R. Vishwanath. He is the representative of Yelahanka constituency in Karnataka assembly since 25 May 2008. He is associated with the Bharatiya Janata Party. Vishwanath is also the current Chairman of Bangalore Development Authority (BDA) and Member of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Board. Presently, he is again placed for its forthcoming assembly election 2023 from the constituency of Yelahanka.

On the personal front, S. R. Vishwanath was born on July 24, 1962, at Singanayakanahalli to K.V Ramaiah and Smt. Mallamma. He is married to Vanishree and the duo has a son named Alok and a daughter named Apoorva.

Singanayakanahalli Ramaiah Vishwanath completed his schooling at the Government School in Singanayakanahalli. He then pursued a diploma in ITI from MRJTTI Institute in Bangalore and completed his apprenticeship at Bharat Earthmovers Limited (BML). Following this, he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Arts from Bangalore Arts College.
