G.V.L. Narasimha Rao, born on July 6th, 1964, in Tenali, is a prominent figure known for his multifaceted contributions across various domains.

In January 2009, Rao began his journey as Media Advisor to the Chief Minister in Madhya Pradesh, where he served until February 2018, holding the rank of State Minister.

In April 2018, he was elected to the Rajya Sabha by the Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP), marking a pivotal moment in his political career. As a National Spokesperson of the BJP, he articulated its official position in the national and international media platforms on a host of issues

Rao's legislative engagements include membership in diverse committees and boards. Notably, he served as a Member of the Joint Committee on the Jan Vishwas Bill from December 2022 to March 2023, showcasing his dedication to legislative matters.
