Kathir Anand Biography

Durai Murugan Kathir Anand is an Indian politician and Member of Parliament, elected from Vellore constituency Tamil Nadu. He is the son of prominent DMK politician Duraimurugan. Duraimurugan DMK Treasurer and Deputy Leader of the Opposition in the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly.

Kathir Anand contested in election for the first time in 2019 from Vellore constituency and won the election with 4,85,340 votes. He did Master of Business Administration from Baldwin and Wallace College USA, Illisnois University in 1997, Bachelor of Commerce from Loyola College Chennai, University of Madras in 1995.
