Bijoy Chandra Barman is an Indian politician and a member of parliament to the 16th Lok Sabha from Jalpaiguri constituency, West Bengal. He won the Indian general election, 2014 being a All India Trinamool Congress candidate. He was a Sub-Inspector of Schools from 1991 - 1998. He was also a Asst. Registrar at Rabindra Bharati University, Kolkata from 1998 to till date.
