Mukul Roy Biography

Mukul Roy is one of the most prominent leaders in West Bengal. He is a former member of Raja Sabha. He was first elected to the upper house in 2006 by TMC and was consecutively elected in 2012 for a second term. During his tenure as a member of Raja Sabha, he served as the 32rd Minister of Railways of India in 2012. He resigned from TMC in September 2017. Soon after that, he resigned from Rajyasabha also. He joined BJP on November 3rd in the same year.
