Tiruchi Siva is an Indian Politician and a member of the Parliament from Tamil Nadu.

Tiruchi Siva Biography

Tiruchi Siva is the senior leader of the DMK party. He is a member of the Parliament of India representing Tamil Nadu in the Rajya Sabha. He was elected as a Rajya Sabha member in 1996, 2002, 2007,2014, and 2020 from the DMK party. He brought many bills to the Rajya Sabha. He brought the Rights of Transgender Persons Bill in 2014 and unanimously passed by the Rajya Sabha.
He was a member of DMK from the 1970s. In 1978, he was an organizer for the DMK District Student’s Wing.
