Rajpal Singh Shekhawat Biography

Sh Rajpal Singh Shekhawat is an active and prominent politician from Rajastan. He was born in Pachar,Sikar to Sri Ummad singh. Being born in remote village, he rose to be one of the top industrialist in Rajastan. He pursued his master degree in Arts. He Jumped into active politics when he first contested in Rajastan state assembly election from Bani Park constituency in 1990 and elected. But soon in 1992 ,the Govt. headed by Bhairon Singh Shekhawat was dismissed and emergency imposed. He again contested in 1993 election and elected to the 10th state assembly.
In 2008 he changed his constituency to Jhotwara and elected to the 13th constituency and also repeated his victory in 2013. He was also bestowed with many portfolios in Bhairon Singh Shekhawat govt. In current Vasundhara govt he holds Ministry for Industries, Public enterprises, DMIC & NRI affairs.
