Rana Randhir Singh is a well-known politician from Bihar, who is presently a Member of the Bihar Legislative Assembly from the Madhuban constituency. He is a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and has been the torchbearer of his father's political legacy, Sitaram Singh, who was an MP and cabinet minister in Bihar.
Being a son of a politically engaged family, Rana Randhir did his Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) from BIT Mesra and was a graduate of the year 1997. With his technical education and political activities at the grassroots level, he has become a politician in his own right after his father's demise in 2014.
He came to power as an MLA from Madhuban in 2015 and was later on deputed as the Minister of Co-operatives in Bihar from July 2017 to November 2020, a tenure which was under the Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. His emphasis was on cooperative development, rural empowerment, and local governance structural reforms during his period.
Rana Randhir Singh has been identified with the issues related to community development, infrastructure, and welfare schemes in the constituency. Transparency, accountability, and initiation of economic and social development at the grassroots are the main points of his political approach.
He is still actively involved in the politics of Bihar and is considered one of the state leadership core members of the BJP who is always willing to combine the objectives of the party with the requirements of the local and long-term development goals.
In November 2025, Rana Randhir Singh (BJP) secured the Madhuban assembly seat with 86,002 votes, defeating his closest rival Sandhya Rani (RJD) by a margin of 5,492 votes, reinforcing his political standing in Purvi Champaran.
