Narayana Gowda

Dr. Chikkegowda Narayanagowda is the current Minister of Sericulture, Youth empowerment and sports of Karnataka since January 2021. His political journey started in an interesting way. Gowda was born on 21 July 1966 to Chikkegowda and Puttamma in Krishnarajpet, Karnataka. In an early phase of life, Gowda started earning as a driver, then as a hotel server and then promoted as manager as well. Subsequently, he decided to open a hotel, therefore, he completed a diploma course in Hotel Management. And now, Narayana Gowda is the owner of three hotels. On the other hand, he is the founding director of Jayalakshmi Cooperative Bank and the president of Horanadu Kannada Sangha in Mumbai. Apart from this, Narayana started social servicing for the school students, moreover, he has organized free health camps multiple times. He has also provided sewing machine operating training for women. For such amazing contribution towards public, Gowda was finally offered to join politics for continuing his social work in a better way.
