Pradan Baruah Biography

Pradan Baruah is an active politician of Bhartiya Janata Party in Assam. Earlier he was associated with Congress Party and AGP. He was elected as a Member of Parliament in the November 2016 By-election when Sarbananda Sonowal resigned from the seat. He was earlier a member of the Assam Legislative Assembly from the Dhemaji Assembly constituency in Dhemaji district. He actively participated in and organised various awareness programmes for Literacy, Health and Skills Development in the Rural Areas in Assam. He always engaged in many Social & Cultural activities.
Pradan Baruah was born to Mathura Baruah and Bhatyavati Baruah at Amritpur in Silapather on 30th April 1965.
Pradan Baruah's wife is Arunima Baruah and he has two daughters with her.
