Anita Nagar Singh Chauhan

Anita Nagar Singh Chauhan hails from Madhya Pradesh and is associated with the tribal-dominated regions of western Madhya Pradesh, particularly Ratlam and surrounding areas. She became politically active through grassroots engagement and organizational work within the Bharatiya Janata Party, gradually building her presence in local politics.

Her political rise gained momentum in 2024 when she was nominated by the BJP as its candidate from the Ratlam Lok Sabha constituency. Her selection reflected the party’s strategy to strengthen its base among tribal communities in the region. She contested the general elections against senior Congress leader Kantilal Bhuria.

In June 2024, she won the Lok Sabha election from Ratlam by a significant margin, marking her entry into national politics. Her victory was notable as she defeated an experienced political opponent, establishing herself as a key emerging leader from the region.

Following her election, she took the oath as a Member of Parliament in the 18th Lok Sabha and began her parliamentary role. Her political focus has been on regional development, tribal welfare, and representing constituency-level concerns at the national stage.

As of 2026, she continues to serve as MP from Ratlam and remains active in national politics through the Bharatiya Janata Party.
