Sunny Deol

Sunny​‍​‌‍​‍‌​‍​‌‍​‍‌ Deol is a film actor, director, and politician who was born on October 19, 1956, in Sahnewal, Punjab. He was the leading face of Indian cinema for many years before he went into politics. He was loved for his roles in Ghayal, Gadar: Ek Prem Katha, and Border, which are still considered to be his best works. The patriotic and powerful characters he played on-screen became his real-life political persona.

Deol became a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in 2019. In the same year, he also Lok Sabha elections from the Gurdaspur constituency district Punjab. A lot of people thought that the Deol family, which is well known for its association with the entertainment industry, is now moving towards public life, and thus, the politician Deol's entry was a natural progression. Deol could be described as the son of the father, the veteran actor Dharmendra, who also served as an MP.
