Dharmendrasinh Merubha Jadeja

Dharmendrasinh​‍​‌‍​‍‌​‍​‌‍​‍‌ Merubha Jadeja started his political journey from the lowest level and slowly but surely he was able to make a good base in the Jamnagar area. He was at first a member of the Indian National Congress. He worked with local developmental projects, tribal welfare initiatives and different social programmes for youth and such sections of society as were deprived of.

In 2012 he was chosen a member of the Gujarat Legislative Assembly from the district of Jamnagar North running as a Congress candidate. He had been concentrating on infrastructure, education, and community welfare schemes during this period. Engaged actively with the constituency, he earned a lot of recognitions in his constituency.

Before the 2017 state elections Jadeja switched his loyalty to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and was returned to office from Jamnagar North again. His lawmaking activities went on to focus on local development, tribal upliftment and the implementation of the reforms of local governance.

In 2022, the BJP decided to run another candidate, Rivaba Jadeja, in his place, and hence he did not participate in the election. He is still very much a political personality in the area of Jamnagar. He is actively engaged in party work and public initiatives of the region but he is not holding any elected ​‍​‌‍​‍‌​‍​‌‍​‍‌office.
